Kickstarter Rewards Packaged and ready to go Out!

Hey Everyone,

All of the rewards have been packaged except for a few and are ready to go out!  It was tedious putting all the comics in bags and checking, and double checking if everything was correct! I hope it was.  Let me know if something is missing in your rewards package!

Is rock Dead? No, we still have Alcest

I have been sorely disappointed by the last couple of releases of some of my favorite rock bands.  Most of these guys are from the 90's and I think that most artists only have so many albums of material in them.  It actually feels like rock music might be dying.  But wait there is still one awesome band out there, and they're actually my favorite band right now! Alcest.

There's no other band on the planet like Alcest, and Niege is so young still, only a year younger than me.  I'm sure he'll top off the Shelter album with the new album that's coming out.  A lot of his fans have said that his music is the most emotional music they've heard in a long time.  Words and lyrics don't matter for the portion of us fans who don't speak French, it is just raw, pure emotion in his vocals.  Check out Shelter, and his prior albums, all near perfect albums in my opinion.

Now on to T.I.T.S.  Man we've had some great randoms from the web pledging, but still have a ways to go.  We are at 75% now with only 9 days to go, so it is crunch time!

Numb to Comic Movies - Captain America: Civil War

First off I will say that the Captain America: Civil War movie, a.k.a. as Avengers 3 was better than Avengers 2, but with that being said I just feel numb to these movies anymore.  Sure the action was great, the plot wasn't bad at all either.  I'm known as being a harsh movie critic, but I'd give Captain America a  7/10 which is "GOOD."

From time to time you have to get out of the house and go do something.  And since there isn't much to do here, going to the movies or doing something out in nature is about all you can do.

If I had been a kid growing up and all these comic movies came out I would have been in heaven.  But there has been so many of them and Marvel especially has such a long plan in mind for building up to the Infinity Gauntlet, that I just don't care a lot about it.  I'll watch the movies, but I've become numb to these movies.  Special Effects are great and all, but I'm missing gut-wrenching, emotional ties to the characters.  I do feel that the Flash t.v. show has done a way better job in doing that.

Just my thoughts!

Nana - A Japanese Anime

So, I've been watching a new anime series called "Nana."  It is about two girls named Nana who have walked two totally different paths in life.  One is a popular, preppy type of girl who always has a different boyfriend, but yearns to find a boy she can love.

The second Nana is a rocker chick who plays some guitar and sings in a band.  She fell madly in love with the bass player in her band who ended up leaving her to join another band in Tokyo.

A year passes by and the the two Nana's move to Tokyo for separate reasons.  It is here that they meet on the train to Tokyo.  The two hit it off well, and then go their separate ways after the train arrives in Tokyo.  As they both separately look for an apartment, they wind up at the same apartment building and end becoming roommates.

It is very interesting to see how the two Nana's relationship builds over the course of the series. There are many heartbreaking moments, many moments of joy, and overall the trust and friendship the two have together is very touching.  Some might say this is josei anime, but really it is for anyone who has that desire to move off to the big city and make things happen for them.  I am very much enjoying this series and have a ways to go with it.  I'd recommend it to anyone.

KickStarter Campaign, slowly but surely!

Hi there all!

Our kickstarter campaign planning is going pretty slow.  We're converting all RGB pages to CYMK, had to touch up the lettering one last time, as well as still trying figure up all rewards.  Casey is working out all the technical stuff as far as pricing goes.  We're going to try and make this comic as cheap as possible and are only factoring in printing costs and shipping costs, while leaving out the majority of production costs! Stay tuned for more updates.

WonderCon/David Gilmour in L.A. last month - Issue 6 near completion

What's up folks,

We went to Los Angeles to see David Gilmour! What a show, parts of the show were absolutely transcendent.  I have seen every band I could ever want at this point (except Camel), and David Gilmour was a good concert and probably the last one I'll have time for in a long time.

After that we went to WonderCon in L.A. It was like most cons I've been too, lots of people, lots of stuff to buy, but also met some other cool indie creators that had their own tables set up.  I showed one in particular T.I.T.S. and she was like "why don't yal have a table?"

So that's what we are planning now, attending cons with our comics!  Yay!  We are planning the KickStarter for issue #1 at the moment, David has finished issue #6, we had initially hoped that we would get picked up by an actual publisher it would make things more convenient, but alas that doesn't seem to be what's going to happen, so on to self-publishing!

Thanks for reading, stay tuned for Kickstarter info.  We'll be sure to have more art shown and an issue #1 synopsis to give more info out about T.I.T.S.

Issue 1 Cover

Here's the Cover for issue 1:

I came up with this concept and thought it'd be a great cover for the first issue.  The tight pencils by David Gunawan were better than I thought they were going to be but it really came to life when Eve Amador put her colors to it.  Visit the T.I.T.S. Facebook Page for a short 4 picture slideshow of this cover from concept to finished product.

T.I.T.S. Facebook Page Made

Hey folks,

It has been a while since I posted here.  I made a facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Transmigrant-Interdimensional-Taxicab-Service-952132528211109/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel

It's a long link for now, only because I haven't changed the web addy yet.  I'm still undecided on what I want it to be.

I'm going to be posting here more regularly, daily perhaps, with a lot more info, artwork, character bios, Wave 1 Story arc synopsis, and much more.  Thanks, Colton

Submitted issues 1-4, 5 in Production

Well,

We finally submitted issues 1-4 to IMAGE comics.  Really hoping they accept us! Fingers crossed.  I think we submitted at the worst possible time of the year, the week before Christmas, so now we are just waiting around, nervously twiddling out thumbs as we wait for a response.

David and Eve are kicking ass on issue #5 though.  I mean this guy and gal can do no wrong and they are putting out quality pages! This will be the fastest issue (production wise) yet I think!
